Mike Dickson advises companies on how to develop effective and inspiring relationships with charities. Partnerships which make business sense, inspire employees and help to create a more intelligent business. He has recently advised on the successful creation of two new charitable foundations for Bridgepoint, a leading private equity firm, and White Stuff, the fast-growing fashion retailer.

He also advises individuals and families on their private philanthropy.

Mike co-founded the successful children’s charity Whizz-Kidz, which provides mobility equipment for disabled children. Whizz-Kidz is the largest UK supplier of paediatric mobility aids outside the NHS, and has raised over £50 million to provide equipment for more than 7,500 children and young people.

Mike’s new book Please Take One Step explores generosity, and encourages us to live more generous lives. He is also the author of The More You Give, The More You Get, which explains how both individuals and companies can give effectively, and how the charity world works.

Mike has ‘been round six marathons’, led fundraising treks in the Himalayas and Peru, is married with two children and lives in West London. He has secretly been a season ticket holder at Fulham Football Club for many years.
